I feel like for a long time, I’ve been confused about who I am, and what I want from life and I’m finally starting to see the light. I’m slowly starting to find that words that capture my thoughts and feelings.
“Nothing is important, so people, realising that, should get on with their lives, go mad, take their clothes off, jump in the canal, jump into one of those supermarket trolleys, race around the supermarket and steal Mars bars and kiss kittens.”—Steven Patrick Morrissey (via amq)
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you will never walk alone. People, even more than things have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed. Never throw out anyone.”— Audrey Hepburn (via heartofamothersoulofafighter) (via imaginelifeimagineexistance) (via katelizabeth)
I have so many messages in my askbox from people telling me that I’m amazing. Messages I can’t ever bring myself to get rid of, or post because I like seeing them there. Messages from Emma, Amaan, Jim, Alana, Caroline. Lots of people. Thankyou for thinking such nice things about me.
I probably don’t acknowledge new followers as often as I should. Hi anyone who has recently followed me, hey to anyone who reads this. If you want to tell me anything, feel welcome. Perhaps why you’re following my blog, something about yourselves, whatevz.
And also thank you to many of you who have been following me for a long time, it’s weird, but I consider some of you friends now. :)
they do? really? well. i like the word a little more now. but only a little because all i can think of when i use that word is surfers and potheads. stoked. stoked. it just sounds like something a high person would say. or someone with long, blonde (sexy) hair and a wet body (from surfing, you dirty minded girl) would use. and seeing as i am neither, i usually don't use the word 'stoked'. this is too long and it's pointless. whatever. HI I MISS TALKING TO YOU
Australia is filled with someones of the description that you have described with your words. :)
HI CAROLINE, I MISS YOU TOO.
I rarely use the word “stoked”. Sounds bogany to me.
In which, two people that are potential life partners.
Of course you can love your mother, father, aunt, cousin, grandma, grandpa, neice etc, but the kind of love you give to a significant other, I believe that you can’t be torn between two people.
I myself have never being confused in who I love, I’ve always known, and this situation may be realistic to some.
But I, personally, do not believe that you can love two people.
I feel in much the same way I think. I hope I don’t end up regretting these words but I feel that you can’t love someone in the same way as you love another. Even if you’re supposedly “torn” you love one more than the other. You don’t love two people in the same way. So I agree.
“And I’m sorry young man, I cannot be your friend.
I don’t believe in a fairytale end.
I dont keep my head up all of the time.
I find it dull when my heart meets my mind”—‘My Manic And I’ // Laura Marling (via katelizabeth)
This.... Is a fantastic plan! Clearly I picked the right person for this job :) I secretly love code names and secret societies... They're so mysterious! And sneaky. Like spies. Except for much much prettier and less stressful haha.
I’m big on mystery and secret too! Now we just have to dig a tunnel and find some initiates to order around. :P
Haha aww I'm happy you remember me. :P yeh, I kinda change it too much, huh?
I think it'd be good to read Saving Francessca first becuase Thomas Mackee from that is the main charector of the Pipers Son but I don't even remember him in it. :s
Oh and I have no idea why I said I was on chapter one, I think I was on auto type, I'm upto chapter 5. :s man I'm odd.
... I have no idea who that is but I trust she's good if you like her. You have awesome taste in books :)
I'm alright. Sick of school and happy it's my last year but other than that, lifes pretty good :) What about you?
OF COURSE I REMEMBER YOU. You’re like Maddy, duh.
I’m tired and homesick and germy sick. I keep sneezing and I am restless and bored for I must be kept indoors so I do not spread my disease to unsuspecting folk. I’m also in the middle of a risky dental procedure AND it’s too hot and I want it to be winter not summer.
I love Thomas Mackee. I remember him! I didn’t know the Pipers Son was about him. I don’t like reading blurbs. I like being surprised when I read.
Do you like reading? Do you like fiction? Fantasy fiction? Beautiful prose? Stories set in ancient Ireland/England?
Well then let me introduce you to Juliet Marillier.
This is a short story she wrote titled “Otherling”. I just recently read it. If you like this tale then I suggest you buy a box of tissues or a toilet roll and borrow Daughter of the Forest from a library and get crackin’.
Oh I'm on chapter one and I love it alreaddy :)
Mhm, I know. We used to talk about it back on January but I've changed my URL a half a dozen times since then.
OMG MADDY, HELLO, I TOTALLY DIDN’T RECOGNIZE YOU. STOP CHANGING YOUR URL. I really want to read it. I am desperate to start reading it. I also want to read Saving Francesca again because I haven’t read in years. Andandand I want to read Juliet Marillier’s 5th Sevenwaters novel that comes out in December. :)
